Mirabelles is a bold, avant-garde brand! We believe in reusable, washable period panties—for everyone who menstruates. Mirabelles’ eco-friendly panties are key to a healthy future for both people and the planet. Mirabelles is the result of a collaboration between Renata Miklewska and Myriam Kijowska-Tran. Moved and concerned by the disastrous and destructive environmental impact of using traditional disposable period protection, they felt a great need to provide a product whose use would demonstrate responsibility and a healthy approach to menstrual hygiene.

"After seeing menstrual underwear appear in other countries, we decided to do some research and create our own new brand for the Polish market and beyond. We designed Mirabelles underwear because we were appalled by the volume of period-related waste, which grows month by month and year by year—a situation unlikely to change anytime soon. This prospect was so overwhelming that it motivated us to find a solution. We worked together for nearly a year to finally create the design for Mirabelles—eco-friendly, organic menstrual underwear. We wanted to transform the lives of women who, like us, were looking for reusable, washable period underwear to help them live more sustainably and save the time and money spent constantly changing disposable hygiene products throughout the day. We also wanted to spark a conversation about menstruation and everything surrounding it. Undoubtedly, discussing menstrual bleeding remains a taboo subject in our society, yet it shouldn't be. Our goal was to bring this incredible natural phenomenon back into the public conversation to foster an exchange of experiences. We are currently facing an ecological crisis, so there is no better time to realize that we can unite for a common cause and that 'business' doesn't necessarily have to mean 'profit solely for the owner.' Our mission is to provide high-quality, eco-friendly Mirabelles period panties while also educating people and fostering a healthy relationship with menstruation—and everything associated with it—through our Instagram profile. In short: we are fighting period-related stigma using every means possible.

Our Mirabelles panties generate virtually no waste or pollution; we actively reduce our operational carbon footprint across three key areas: production, packaging, and shipping. By implementing efficient production processes, we minimize waste. Regarding packaging, we have eliminated single-use plastics, opting instead for compostable and renewable materials. We are constantly striving for improvement.

Our panties are manufactured in Poland, and all our materials come from eco-friendly Polish companies. This allows us to offer high-quality period panties that are both washable and reusable. At Mirabelles, we are committed to using our business as a force for building a more inclusive, local, and sustainable economy.
